In memory of Dr Adam Jenkins

It is a with a heavy heart that we share the news of the sudden passing of our esteemed colleague and friend, Dr Adam Jenkins, who left us on Friday September 22^nd 2023. Dr Jenkins was a dedicated local GP who played an integral role in the medical community leaving an indelible mark on the healthcare landscape of Ealing and across North West London (NWL).

Dr Jenkins’ unwavering commitment to the betterment of healthcare in our region and in particular general practice was truly remarkable. He was instrumental in supporting all GP practices and individual GPs when approached and worked tirelessly to elevate the standard of care for our patients through General Practice. His dedication was exemplified in the role he played in supporting the development of the Ealing Standard contract, an initiative that has had a positive impact on General Practice and health outcomes in Ealing and now with the NWL wide contract across a much larger footprint in London.

Throughout his career, Dr Jenkins championed numerous developments of the General Practice contract, keeping the resilience and sustainability of general practice at the core of his values. His dedication to the medical profession, his compassionate patient care as a GP and his tireless efforts to promote excellence in general practice made him an inspiration to us all.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of such an exceptional colleague and friend and in this difficult time our thoughts and prayers go out to family and loved ones. Dr Jenkins will be deeply missed, but his influence on our work and community will endure.
